from the Chairman
The Darien Foundation for Technology & Community has a new name but our mission of providing funding for technology projects and capital projects that benefit the Darien community remains the same.
Since our founding in 1998, the Darien Foundation has awarded more than $2.3 million in cumulative grants to the Darien Public Schools and other town organizations.
In 2011 The Darien Foundation awarded grants totaling $220,000 to Darien High School, Channel 79 and the Darien YMCA Capital Campaign. We continue to sponsor free computer classes for school and community volunteers at the Darien Library.
The Darien Foundation is a tremendous asset to the town of Darien and its residents. We are able to accomplish the things we do because of the generosity of people like you who believe in the power of a collective purse. Your support is crucial to our future success – please give generously so that together, we can continue to Build a Better Darien!
Sincerely yours,
Ward Glassmeyer
